Parent/Student/Teacher Agreement
Mr. T. Elliott, Principal
Ms. A. Cheers, Mrs. E. Davis, & Mrs. J. Heevner, Teachers
Dear Parents,
We have developed a classroom discipline plan, which affords every student guidance in making good decisions about his/her behavior and thus an opportunity to learn in a positive, nurturing classroom environment. Your child deserves the most positive educational climate possible for his/her growth, and we know that together we will make a difference in this process. The plan below outlines our classroom rules, positive rewards and consequences for appropriate and inappropriate behavior.
Classroom Rules:
*Follow directions the first time they are given
*Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself
*No name calling, teasing or obscene language
*Respect the teacher, your peers and all classroom property
*Make your subject transitions swift, quiet and orderly
To encourage students to follow our rules, we will recognize appropriate behavior with praise, positive notes and
phone calls, and Student of the Week award.
Choosing not to follow the classroom rules will result in negative consequences.
*First time: Warning
*Second time: Behavior Log entry
*Third time: Student/Teacher conference
*Fourth time: Phone call to parents/guardians
*Fifth time: Principal Intervention
